A Youth Worker - Senior is a people-centred professional who helps deliver reliable outcomes in day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate with government agencies, clients, keeping intake notes well managed and easy to access when needed. You'll take ownership of complex work, coach peers and drive continuous improvement across workflows. Strong performance is shown through consistent delivery, accurate records and effective use of secure record-keeping tools to track and communicate progress.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Support community engagement activities, programs or events where required
  • Coordinate with service providers and agencies to support wraparound care
  • Provide client support through intake, assessment and referral pathways
  • Manage risk, safety and duty-of-care responsibilities in complex situations
  • Contribute to compliance, quality standards and continuous improvement activities
  • Develop and review plans with clients, focusing on practical, achievable outcomes
  • Coach others, share knowledge and improve processes to lift team capability and quality
