The Network Engineer supports consistent delivery by coordinating tasks, information and stakeholders across the workday. You'll coordinate with vendors, IT teams, keeping incident notes well managed and easy to access when needed. You'll balance quality and pace, using judgement to triage requests and escalate risks at the right time. Strong performance is shown through consistent delivery, accurate records and effective use of Azure/AWS to track and communicate progress.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs and knowledge base articles for common issues
  • Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and service requests as needed
  • Support basic network and application troubleshooting for end users
  • Respond to support requests, diagnosing issues and documenting outcomes in the ticketing system
  • Assist with patching, updates and preventative maintenance to improve reliability

Skills and tools to learn

Core skills: prioritisation, documentation, security mindset, troubleshooting, customer support

Software/Platforms: endpoint/security tools, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow/Jira, Azure/AWS basics

Methods/Knowledge: access management, incident response runbooks, ITIL basics
