As a Network Administrator - Senior, you bring a calm under pressure approach to delivering services and supporting teams to meet their goals. You'll partner with security stakeholders, end users to keep work moving and ensure key runbooks are accurate and up to date. You'll lead through expertise, guiding others, improving processes and influencing decisions with clear insights and risk awareness. Strong performance is shown through consistent delivery, accurate records and effective use of endpoint/security tools to track and communicate progress.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Assist with patching, updates and preventative maintenance to improve reliability
  • Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
  • Contribute to security hygiene such as MFA, endpoint protection and basic audits
  • Respond to support requests, diagnosing issues and documenting outcomes in the ticketing system
  • Coach others, share knowledge and improve processes to lift team capability and quality

Skills and tools to learn

Core skills: troubleshooting, security mindset, prioritisation, documentation, stakeholder management

Software/Platforms: endpoint/security tools, Azure/AWS basics, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow/Jira

Methods/Knowledge: access management, ITIL basics, continuous improvement
