The Network Administrator - Junior supports consistent delivery by coordinating tasks, information and stakeholders across the workday. You'll partner with security stakeholders, IT teams to keep work moving and ensure key tickets are accurate and up to date. You'll focus on getting the fundamentals right, with guidance from experienced colleagues and clear checklists or templates. Success looks like timely follow-through, strong communication and confident use of tools such as endpoint/security tools.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Monitor systems and alerts, escalating incidents according to runbooks
  • Assist with patching, updates and preventative maintenance to improve reliability
  • Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and service requests as needed
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs and knowledge base articles for common issues
  • Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
  • Support basic network and application troubleshooting for end users
  • Follow established procedures and checklists, escalating issues early and learning from feedback

Core skills: prioritisation, customer support, security mindset, troubleshooting, learning agility

Software/Platforms: Microsoft 365, endpoint/security tools, Azure/AWS basics, ServiceNow/Jira

Methods/Knowledge: ITIL basics, access management, checklists and templates
