Junior Web Developer
As a Junior Web Developer, you bring a quality-minded approach to delivering services and supporting teams to meet their goals. You'll partner with vendors, security stakeholders to keep work moving and ensure key incident notes are accurate and up to date. You'll build confidence by following established processes, asking questions early and learning the systems used across the team. Success looks like timely follow-through, strong communication and confident use of tools such as ServiceNow/Jira.
What you’ll do day to day
- Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and service requests as needed
- Support basic network and application troubleshooting for end users
- Assist with patching, updates and preventative maintenance to improve reliability
- Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
- Follow established procedures and checklists, escalating issues early and learning from feedback
Skills and tools to learn
Core skills: prioritisation, troubleshooting, documentation, security mindset, learning agility
Software/Platforms: ServiceNow/Jira, Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS basics, endpoint/security tools
Methods/Knowledge: ITIL basics, access management, checklists and templates
