A Junior Software Programmer is a detail-oriented professional who helps deliver reliable outcomes in day-to-day operations. You'll partner with security stakeholders, vendors to keep work moving and ensure key tickets are accurate and up to date. You'll build confidence by following established processes, asking questions early and learning the systems used across the team. You'll be successful when stakeholders feel supported, work is well documented, and systems like endpoint/security tools are kept reliable and current.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Contribute to security hygiene such as MFA, endpoint protection and basic audits
  • Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
  • Support basic network and application troubleshooting for end users
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs and knowledge base articles for common issues
  • Monitor systems and alerts, escalating incidents according to runbooks
  • Follow established procedures and checklists, escalating issues early and learning from feedback

Core skills: troubleshooting, documentation, customer support, security mindset, learning agility

Software/Platforms: Microsoft 365, endpoint/security tools, Azure/AWS basics, ServiceNow/Jira

Methods/Knowledge: incident response runbooks, access management, checklists and templates
