A Human Resources Officer is a practical professional who helps deliver reliable outcomes in day-to-day operations. You'll work with employees, HR partners and maintain clear case notes so decisions and actions stay on track. You'll balance quality and pace, using judgement to triage requests and escalate risks at the right time. Success looks like timely follow-through, strong communication and confident use of tools such as Microsoft 365.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Contribute to reporting on headcount, turnover and people metrics
  • Support performance and development cycles, including reminders and documentation
  • Assist with onboarding, induction and probation processes to improve the employee experience
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters and policy acknowledgements
  • Support recruitment administration, including scheduling, screening coordination and candidate communication
  • Maintain HR records in the HRIS with strong confidentiality and attention to detail
