A Family Support Specialist is a practical professional who helps deliver reliable outcomes in day-to-day operations. You'll coordinate with government agencies, families, keeping referrals well managed and easy to access when needed. You'll own recurring tasks end-to-end, manage competing priorities and recommend small improvements that reduce friction. Strong performance is shown through consistent delivery, accurate records and effective use of Microsoft 365 to track and communicate progress.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Contribute to compliance, quality standards and continuous improvement activities
  • Coordinate with service providers and agencies to support wraparound care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and reporting documentation
  • Manage risk, safety and duty-of-care responsibilities in complex situations
  • Support community engagement activities, programs or events where required
  • Provide client support through intake, assessment and referral pathways
  • Advocate for clients and assist with navigating systems and entitlements
