The Cyber Security Analyst supports consistent delivery by coordinating tasks, information and stakeholders across the workday. You'll coordinate with IT teams, vendors, keeping runbooks well managed and easy to access when needed. You'll balance quality and pace, using judgement to triage requests and escalate risks at the right time. Success looks like timely follow-through, strong communication and confident use of tools such as Azure/AWS.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Maintain documentation, FAQs and knowledge base articles for common issues
  • Monitor systems and alerts, escalating incidents according to runbooks
  • Support basic network and application troubleshooting for end users
  • Set up and maintain user access, devices and accounts in line with policies
  • Contribute to security hygiene such as MFA, endpoint protection and basic audits
  • Assist with patching, updates and preventative maintenance to improve reliability

Skills and tools to learn

Core skills: documentation, security mindset, prioritisation, troubleshooting, customer support

Software/Platforms: Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS basics, endpoint/security tools, ServiceNow/Jira

Methods/Knowledge: ITIL basics, access management, incident response runbooks
