As a Business Analyst, you bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You'll work with stakeholders to understand how an organisation operates, identify inefficiencies, and recommend changes that improve processes, products, and services. Using tools like Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Jira, you'll gather and document requirements, model business processes, analyse data, and support teams through change. Whether you're mapping workflows, writing user stories, or presenting insights to leadership, your work helps organisations make better decisions and deliver real results.

What you’ll do day to day

  • Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observation
  • Analyse business processes using flowcharts, BPMN diagrams, and process mining to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for development teams
  • Build dashboards and visual reports in Power BI or Tableau to communicate data-driven insights to decision-makers
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with organisational goals
  • Support Agile delivery by managing backlogs, participating in sprint planning, and validating delivered solutions against requirements
